GW (garda world on tsx) is now back on my best pick for 2010. With actual price it could easily double and get back to 14$

With recent event of today and the bad results, SSS is no longer part of my best picks for this year.
If you followed the rule (sell some when high to cover your price) you did not loose any money and whatever is left should be at 0 cost.
Remeber never invest more than you can afford to loose and always, always take profit whenever a stock gives you 25,50,75 and 100% return. Being too greedy can cost you a fortune. So stay with your plan

I was supposed to publish a new article on TVI this week but because of the AGM i will wait a week as i think most of the actual questions will be answered.

BUMPY RIDE
We could be in for another very bumpy week.
All indicators are pointing to a bad situation in Europe confirmed by metal prices this morning (copper, zinc etc)
Remember that we sell when it's high and buy when it's low.
Expect some great discounted sales this week.

After reviewing Q1 results, these were good and they finally made a profit.
Not the biggest surprise but it looks like the worst is over.
Expect a good leg up in the 0,80 by the end of this month.

ALERT TVI
Tvi has just announced their 14th shipment may 5th. Althought a bit under expectations, it is still a very good shiment a bit over 9M$.
It will be interesting to see if scheduling will change to reflect the 20% copper instead of 25%. But overall when you include the new cheaper loan (with a bank) the early repayment and the coming on schedule payment, we can expect great things from them for the coming months.

UPDATE TVI
Total loan now close to 0. Only 4 M$ left.
What is more interesting is that they were able to get a short term loan froma bank drafting interest at 4.3%
More details will be coming (i presume) but very very interesting fact. Watch for my may 18th release of Q1 facts.

STRANGE DAY
What a very strange day.
Imagine you could buiy DAN at 10,98...Well it was an opportunity today for about 1 and half minute...then it went back to the 12$
That is the difference between value stock and speculative one.
When you have real value in your portfolio then you can sleep at night.
Be careful, take some profit when occasion present itself and wait to buy on the dip. Today was the perfect example for those of had some money (old profit) on the sideline ready for discounted sales.
Tomorrow morning will be very interesting.

ALERT SSS
Unless somebody throw a major block at the ask side, there are no more large wall restraining shares to climb up to 0,40. Volume is light and if would not take that much for a great leg up.
ALERT BPOP
As often sell on the news was part of the game this morning creating a small dip. I expect BPOP to have bottomed at about 3,85$ and now ready for the leg up to abour 4,50$ end of this week

ALERT BPOP
As expected, BPOP is the new owner of another bank in Puerto Rico.
As seen on friday night transactions, market reaction will be excelent as it has already gain 8% in the after hours trading.
It will be to watch monday morning as i think there will be a great profit to cash in.

ALERT TVI
I expect news mid next week to the effect that Zinc circuit is on line and agreements have been signed to sell it much the same way as they did for their copper concentrate.
Also next week to watch is the first shipment at higher copper concentrate %. In the past shipments were in the 8M$ range and if copper % has increase by 25%, i would not be surprised to see a 10M$ shipment.
All together, TVI is again showing consistency in shipments and achieviement of their projects on time. The shares are still not reflecting the real value of this company and the thing is that one day without notice or major news release, it will start to climb as it is often the case with micro-cap companies.
As a pure play TVI has not yet achieved the expected return on investment, but patience will get us there.
Also note that Q1 results should be released mid may and balabag drillings test should be completed by the end of May. Personnally ithink their results will be very good and they will give a green light to starting of this new mine increasing the total TVI mine life by a couple of years.
When you look at the complete picture, TVI has a lot on their plates for the coming 6 weeks and still cannot find bad press release in the near future.

Get ready for exciting news. I think that FDIC will take over control of at least 2 Puerto Rico banks and with a bit of luck, BPOP will be the one that will take over.
If that was to be the case, expect a very good rally early next week after maybe a small pull off (5%)

ALERT SSS
Based upon news this morning, we could be experimenting a fantastic leg up for SSS.
No major resistance in sight (at least before 0,45) and good share pirce increase this morning with relatively mid range volume.
IF volume was to pick up a bit more, i expect a return to over 0,50 this week and within the next 4 weeks share price could be over 0,75 awaiting news from their latest Phase 11B and based upon wording from SSS in their news release, the tone of it makes me believe it could be really good as they did not used the usual formal text to announce the end of their phase 2b.

In any case, SSS should be play safely meaning that if you bought on dips and sold also on momentum, your cost should be close to 0,20. So, if you can get your cost to almost 0 then whatever is left will be on the house.
If that trial was to be conclusive, expect many great company to knock on their door for a join venture and from there, the share price would explode. Remember that their share float is only 134M shares. Not really high for a pharma research company.
Their management is rated 4 stars by morningstar and without a doubt this is one of my great picks for this year.
As usual, be reponsible, do not bet the barn on only 1 stock and do not invest more than you can afford to loose.

UPDATE MPEL
MPEL is as it's resistance point. If it was to close over 5,10$ expect a leg up next week to 5,24$
