Yes they have a huge share float (close to 500M) and are the new guy on the block (January 2011) for mobile advertising BUT their user number is increasing rapidly and their total monthly searchs have reach 70M in 9 countries.
What is Poynt? It is a geo-based location advertising search application for all major mobile phone platform that is allowing customers to find the local business for the product they are looking for NOW. It has also been named one of the 50 fast growing companies in Alberta.
There would be a lot more to mention about Poynt like the fact that they are looking to be a profitable business before 2012 year end based on their last revenue guidance. If they were to achieve that, it would be a great accomplishment and a visit to their site is a must:
